How to obtain dI/dV mapping singal by Createc software

1:Set the interal lock-in parameters

For point spectrum:

RC(Hz): should be smaller, such as 0.7Hz.　Lockin-Mode:Internal+scan off (also works for Internal mode)

For mapping:

RC(Hz): should be larger, such as 14Hz.　　Lockin-Mode:Internal

All the parameters include Frequency(Hz) and Amplitude you should play around according to yous system conditions

Then press Autophase button and you will have a Phase_1 value

2:Set Vertical Manipulation parameters( For point spectrum)

A typical Au(111） dI/dV point spectrum setting(LN2 temperature) was showed in the next picture

*You need to play around the parameters according to your system conditions

Channels:you should select the dI/dV channels to collect dI/dV singals for interal lock-in

VertChannelForm:Click this button to show the X/Y graph for your singal

V-Z Table:You should set the bias range here

3:Scannig conditons for dI/dV mapping

For dI/dV mapping(By internal lockin),you should select the dI/dV channel in Parameter>scan panel.

The scan speed should be slower, typical 1s/lines.(also should be adjusted by yourself)

After you have found the correct lockin parameters in step 1. You can start STM scanning with dI/dV singal.

Press Ctrl+N to open the window which will show the dI/dV mapping channel.
